Lately I like to take things even slower…
It really takes slowing down to speed up these days. I take an outlying direction and leave the noise of Brothers and Singers behind. It's good to listen to the primal sounds of natural fabrics for a change as they grow and tune into the podcast of rural wisdom. Here silence speaks miles and the speed of days are measured in knots.
There is no shame in wearing your beloved attire down to the skin and starting the knitting journey from the beginning – it's a natural, recreational cycle of a knits' life. My grandmother never threw out anything. The knitted sock had to survive a few patches before it gracefully teared completely. It's a relationship taken seriously.
To be frank, the creation takes a while. After all, there's an eternity of craft entwined into the thorough patterns and seemingly accidental tears. I think it's only fair if the same goes for the wearing – until it gracefully tears apart.
Honestly, I'd love to buy you some more time, but all I can – is pass this time-capsule of meticulous handmade designs. If you think about it, it's the closest thing to a time machine made by loving nimble fingers.
I think of these garments as reliable companions that you'll stick with at least for a few whiles, not to imply you'll become partners for life… Please don't get cold feet just yet! Nonetheless, it's definitely something you can grow into a bit. Something that keeps all your secrets in a sheer crochet lace… You know what they say – the best hiding is in plain sight!
I love to design that particular
trust-space between the two of you.
So that you can take care of the rest.
Now… it's all
Yours truly!
